A live tipping I did on place martindale strategies.

You make up your own mind.....Jim

Live test on Martindale place strategies and laying.

What is Martindale strategies?

Martindale wagering is dangerous, like playing roulette and keep backing black and must double

up when you lose and so forth, a rare strategy in any form of betting. Lose your house in one day!

When you lose, you have to double your bet +10% to show a profit.

Does 28.8 have the ultimate place, betting system to never lose?

Martindale Place summary:

·       Only 1 time you had to go to more than 1 double up, to win again.

·       Live: 70 Martindale tips.

Lyric News

I started on the 25th of November 2014 writing songs.

I quickly wrote over 40, and now two weeks later and about 10 rewrites each song, I think

I have created a masterpiece.

I rated all my songs firstly 5/10, then up to 7/10 - 8/10 and finish with a 9/10 and a 10/10 and

now it up to the musical scores to keep them on those ratings.

I am on track to do my 200 rock and others songs x Xmas and I crunched the numbers and I have worked

out that 200 songs per year, for me to firstly learn how to read and write music, plus learn the piano, I will be

80 years old before I have anything published, then about 2,000 songs behind.

I will spread my lyrics with many writers.

Cheers Jim

Chairman of stewards issues drug statement

Chairman of stewards Terry Bailey Chairman of stewards Terry Bailey

Racing Victoria chairman of stewards Terry Bailey has issued a statement regarding the positive drug tests returned by runners from three of the state's premier yards, as the Victorian racing industry continues to weather a storm of controversy.

“Following receipt of RASL’s report we are conducting investigations into the circumstances that led to the elevated levels of Cobalt being detected in race-day samples taken from horses from the Moody, Kavanagh and O’Brien stables,” Bailey said.

“It is now our priority to gather all the facts to determine the circumstances surrounding each case. We will not be putting a timeline on the completion of this process and will not be commenting on the specifics of each case whilst our investigations continue.

“Our investigations will determine whether any or all of the trainers will be charged with a breach of the Rules of Racing. They have the presumption of innocence and are free to continue racing at this time.”

Three Danny O'Brien-trained runners - including winner De Little Engine and VRC Derby runner-up Bondeiger - returned positive tests for cobalt, whilst the Peter Moody-prepared horse in question is Turnbull Stakes runner-up Ladari.

Mark Kavanagh's positive swab surrounds the win of staying gelding Magicool in the Listed UCI Stakes at Caulfield.

Black bookers for punters:   14th January 2014

Sandown race course and Sandown Trials

Good afternoon punters and here a few sure fire winners coming up if they continue to improve in fitness, if they don’t, we will lose. It’s that simple.

Sandown conducted 4 x 800 metre trials on Tuesday 13/01/2015 with the powerful Godolphin stable was the star with 4 great black bookers.

Many saw these horses but our edge is that all four have Group 1 conformation written all over them, so you can back with some confidence as they go through their grades.

4-5 are Godolphin horses, so keep a good eye out for them.

Follow (Am only writing what the caller said, so may be spelt differently)

1.      Nessie

2.      Demonstrate

3.      Rima

4.      Pursuit

5.      Band on the Run

Sandown Lakeside:    Slow 5   14-01-15

Terrible day on fitness ratings and after 6 races, I left the course without having a bet.

However some great black bookers are here to follow if they improve 1% - 2% in fitness next start.

All black bookers are nice type horses, no ponies so you can follow with confidence if they have top weights.

Race  1      3yo and upwards   1400 metres

The nice type Karpathianon 18/97% fit, tired in the last bit and following this impressive type next start, can win

Spruiking on 17/97% fit moved up mid race and weakened because it had a low blood count, watch out for at odds in easier races shortly.

Race 2     3yo   1200 metres

The nice type Mossara Lad, with good strength factors  on 17/96 raced on the pace early only to weaken out of it, again on 17 (85%) blood count this was always going to happen, can improve.

Has 4 lengths in fitness improvement left.

Undoubledly Grand from the Robbie Lang stable again another horse on 17/95 will improve in fitness with that under its belt, look out for country run.

The Colin and Cindy Alderson trained, Andrassy  on 17/96 ran a nice 4th and watch out for next start as a nice type of horse.

Race 3      Benchmark  64    1600 metres

Winner Varboss trained by Michael Kent, gave me the early tip this horse as he walked the track for about 30 minutes, an hour before the race, looking for the best running.

Varboss was strongly supported in favourite and proved too good for an ordinary lot on 17/96%.

Just be a bit careful here as there will be raps, but his strength factors are low, so caution and have to rate the horse before you bet next start.

Nice big strong black, Leadfoot, has no results at Sandown but on 18/96% is ready to run a big race when on his favourite track in the next 2 weeks, watch out for as getting fit.

The stocky and strong type, Eye of the World led and weakened out of it because low blood counts on 17, watch when it has a higher blood count rating and try then.

Race 4     3yo and upwards    1500

Got a good thing here punters, Inishowen from the Freedman camp only 17/95, nice type made a big run over the last 300 metres and the apprentice jockey could not control the horse over the last 100, with it ducking in many times.

This horse is better than these and I am sure that Lee will pump up its blood to 19 and fitness up to 97-98, with a solid fitness rating of 19/98 and can win as has 5 lengths in fitness left in the tank.

So check it out.

Calvalho, a nice type had no distance form and sure enough when the race was there to be won it weakened out of it.

On 17/96 get it back to 1400 in easier grade and can win at nice odds.

Canterbury

Very nice horse to follow the great type Zestful on 18/96 is strong type and well in the markets.

Last out, weaved it way through the field and won like a good horse.

Still has 4 lengths in fitness improvement and try again in 20 odds days 2nd up, or be careful if races again soon.

Thanks punters and good luck

There will not be any trainers registered, bit of a joke here punters!

Kavanagh & O'Brien runners return positive tests

Mark Kavanagh expressed his shock at the result Mark Kavanagh expressed his shock at the result

Flemington-based Mark Kavanagh and Danny O'Brien were both this morning notified by Racing Victoria stewards of positive swab findings for runners under their care.

It is understood that the positive finding for the outlawed blood doping drug cobalt chloride relates to horses that raced during the Victorian spring carnival.

The three Danny O'Brien-trained horses in which a prohibited substance has been detected are:

- Caravan Rolls On (when finishing eighth in the Lexus Stakes at Flemington on 1 November 2014);
- Bondeiger (when finishing second in the Group 1 Victoria Derby at Flemington on 1 Novemeber 2014);
- De Little Engine (when the gelding won a 2300m race at Ballarat on 22 November 2014).

The Kavanagh-trained runner who has returned a positive is Magicool in the Listed UCI Stakes at Flemington on 4 October.

Kavanagh issued a statement expressing his shock at the result.

“The morning Racing Victoria informed that one of my runners tested positive to a banned substance in October last year,” Kavanagh said in the statement.

“This has come as a complete shock to me as I have always placed great emphasis on integrity and operating within the rules of racing. We are, unfortunately, not the only stable in this situation.

“I am co-operating fully with the Racing Victoria Integrity Services Department to investigate how this could occur and hopefully we will resolve the matter as soon as possible.

“I have a responsibility to my valued clients and staff to run my stable in a professional manner and believe I have always done that.”

The news is another blow for the integrity of Victorian racing, with the industry reeling after the news that the Peter Moody-trained Lidari returned a positive for cobalt after his second in the Turnbull Stakes.

As you know by now, I support punters and their rights in getting short changed in their betting.

So once again, or should I say about the 20th time in recent years, another drug found in horses by stewards.

They are just not handing out stiff enough penalities, if over seas some of the trainers would be getting 1-2-3 years on the side line.

Punters are getting shafted, way too often, though cobalt levels must be a nightmare for trainers to keep under control.

But rules are rules

Cheers James

Moody horse tests positive

Peter Moody is the latest trainer to be investigated for cobalt use Peter Moody is the latest trainer to be investigated for cobalt use

Lidari from the Peter Moody stable is the latest horse to return a positive sample for the banned substance cobalt.

Moody said he was devastated when stewards had informed him of the positive sample taken after Lidari finished second to Lucia Valentina in the Turnbull Stakes on October 4.

"I have no knowledge or understanding as to how this could occur and will work with Racing Victoria Integrity Services Department to bring this matter to a conclusion as soon as possible," Moody said in a statement.

"I take great pride in my role in thoroughbred racing in Victoria and strive to manage my business and support my wonderful group of owners and staff with the highest levels of honesty and professionalism. I will continue to the goal over the next few months and do everything possible to clear my name."

"In respect to the proceedings that will follow from this announcement, I will make not be making any further comment until its conclusion."

Cobalt is is a prohibited substance under the Australian Rules of Racing, however because it is a naturally occurring trace element which may be present in horses at very low levels, Racing Victoria has set a threshold level of 200 micrograms per litre in urine.

Racing Analytical Services Limited reported that the urine sample contained Cobalt at a concentration in excess of 200 micrograms per litre.

The sample was tested at the Chem Centre in Western Australia and was confirmed by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Laboratory.

Cobalt chloride has been found to have a similar effect as endurance-boosting drug EPO.

Racing authorities have been on high alert for the possible use of cobalt after it was discovered in harness racing in the United States and Australia.

The positive result from Lidari comes just a week after Racing Victoria Stewards confirmed a third horse trained by Lee and Shannon Hope had returned a positive sample for Cobalt.

Mare Choose returned a positive test following a run at Caulfield in September 2014, a month after positive samples form Windy Citi Bear and Best Suggestion were confirmed.

Just parade 50 horses not saddled up and let punters bet first 4 races on fitter horses, cool.

Cranbourne 20/20 meeting positive reviews

By Adrian Dunn TVN Sunday, January 11, 2015 - 10:11 AM

Racing Network

RACING Victoria will analyse the betting data from Cranbourne’s 20/20 night racing venture as it assesses the role the concept has in future programming.

RV Executive General Manager Racing Greg Carpenter said from an operational and logistic perspective the abbreviated duration of the meeting was a success.

Carpenter said restricting jockeys to not riding in consecutive races was an issue aired in the fallout from Cranbourne’s initiative of conducting an eight race program in two hours and 20 minutes.

He said betting turnover from all operators would be received later in the week and this would be digested along with all other elements of the meeting.

Victorian Jockeys Association CEO Des O’Keeffe said jockeys were complimentary on how the meeting flowed operationally, but did not believe it was fair to place a ceiling on the number of rides they could take.

O’Keeffe said jockeys believed they should be able to ride in consecutive races given the ability to weigh out in advance.

Carpenter said the additional staff - stewards, vets, race-day officials - helped the program flow seamlessly

“We will sit back, look at the feed back from all industry participants and the wagering results when they come through,” Carpenter said.

“It was good to prove that we can do it, now we’ll look at its impact on wagering.”

Carpenter said the Cranbourne Turf Club is keen to pursue further 20/20 type meetings on its night racing calendar
