Subject: Royal Ascot Friday Preview

It's fair to say I'm having a shocker, and am probably close to damage
limitation territory already.

This week has been a painful reminder of the folly of betting when
most horses are progressive, rather than 'as good as they are', making
it something of a guessing game as to which can move forward the
most.

Chuck in the weather, which most of the horses haven't raced on
before, and you have a 15,000 word part work on futility.

But hey, on the bright side there are two days to go... :-/

For what it's worth (increasingly little), here are Friday's thoughts:

Royal Ascot Friday Preview / Tips

Sincerely hoping you're having a better time of it than me.

Best Regards,

tough punting afternoon.

One firm are paying FIVE places in the Gold Cup, which is
of interest given it's 8/1 bar one in there!

No Dead Rabbits.

The dog game has been rocked with live baiting and new rules are in place on rearing, breaking in and trialling tracks:

·       No dead rabbits

·       No dead chickens

·       No dead anything

·       No animal skins what so ever on lures

·       No food on lures

·       No blood on lures

Just a rag with a squeaker.

Big brother has spies out every-where.

Now more and more pups are getting put down because they will

not break in, so breeding has to increase to supply race dogs plus keen chasing pedigrees

are in high demand.
