Hi Members, here are some betting strategies to match up with our fitness ratings:

Punters till need to do their form study of horses they like before the race.

We tell you how fit horses are, you work out your betting strategies with horses you fancy.

100% - 99%

If a horse is rated here like champion grey Chautauqua who came from last
on the turn to win running away, his win price of $2.70 was huge.

Win bet only; as there was never going to be anything out of the exotics.

98%

On its own and in a race it can win, just back it win or each way depending on the price.
Can confidently rove in exotics one out.

If more than one horse on 98%, use as bankers in exotics, back which one you like, or
all; depending on the prices. You may rove as banker x 2 horses rated 98% with others.

If one gets up you win, if both get up you win more.

97%

Look at the markets, horses prices, barriers, if the top rated horses 1 or 2 have the form; back win/place and work in your exotics with confidence.

Some members have bet calculators and may back all 6 horses to show a profit, they are out there.

Firstly you need to get it, then make money.

If there is value in our 97% horses, box up the 6 horses, even include others for 3 or 4th if taking a Pick 4 chasing bigger dividends.

A double figure horse/s say 2-3 rated means that the trifecta will pay over $300 and pick 4 over $1,000.

If 2 horses in double figures on top line, the trifecta will pay over $500 and Pick 4 in their thousands.

You have to imagine the dividends if such and such fit horses gets up and bet that way.

There is nothing wrong with boxing up 8 horses, if the dividend is going to be there.

5% of a $10,000 is $500 win fall.

Don’t be afraid to go wide, just get it.

96%

Some members won’t bet on these ratings, other will look at the favourite and lay on Betfair.

Either way, I am not confident of getting all the numbers across the line, in that case you have to go wider than what I have suggested.

Summary:

•    You need to do your form study, pro punters race days start at about 4am every morning.
•    Do you start then?
•    No, you have a day job and looking for an easy way to win doing as little work as possible.
•    It won’t happen, but knowing who is fittest is a great start.
•    At least in between races look at the form of the next race if you can.

Many successful punters never bet a place, win only and exotics.

Some are laying unfit favourites on Betfair.

Some are taking running doubles that pay well, others wait for the daily double and 1st leg of
the Quadrella.

I tipped the first leg of the quaddie (2nd pick at $16.50 won) at Kyneton and taking  6 x 6 x 6  you
got the quaddie that paid $36,000……great information on first leg fitness.

Exotics are paying huge when some value horses are in the top line.

I hope this helps you betting strategies on fitness, you just have to think what is this
race going to pay; and take it from there.

Regards
