Subject: Curious Punter

Hello James

Hi Gavin

My name Gavin Hanson and I am a small punter (due to a young family and everyday life) (I know all about that with 5 kids and two mortgages)

however I have a very big interest in horse racing and what you do. That’s good.

I have been following you on Twitter over the last few weeks and find your system very interesting.

Yes, nobody else in the world does what I do, I wanted to make punting simpler, it is too confusing;

all the things you MUST learn yet nothing stands up.

I do not study the form just work on how fit they are in the mounting yards. Has taken me 30 years to work out.

I am only a Saturday punter due to work commitments so I do not, or very, very rarely have a bet through the week.

The weeks I have been following, I have been trying to work a betting system that allows me to make minimal

investment for maximum gain as such.

Punting is all about knowing what horses are fittest and using those numbers as commodities to return a profit.

I play multiples much of the time and find it hard to cover all your selections into a multi, whether it be a Trifecta

or First 4, as you would understand the more horses the more cost, do you have any advice here?

Obviously you can flexi bet to reduce your costs.

My strategies are suggested before the race.

·       I like the top line take 1 or more horses with other(2nd row)

·       Do not take both horses in same bet, take 1, then the other and if they both run in you get it twice.

·       I am not sure, value bet; that is when I am not sure it is in the top line: try value betting with something at     odds in exotics.

·       I am not sure…….stay out and wait for top line bets.

·       98%/99%/100% these horses say it all and work with that horse or others, pretty confident they will           perform very well.

·       LAYING unfit horses:  Horses 94% fit have a strike rate of 99.1% lose, try Betfair, but your liabilities can be huge.

·       See if your selection/s are fit and go with them as a sort of conformation that they will perform

I was also interested in your MMS package that is available - can I only receive selections on Saturdays?

Of course text messages: $20 per meeting, see pay pal. I just need your mobile number, available in Australia only.

Do you supply early morning selections before the meeting or again as on Twitter just before the race?

No, because they will lose as I do not know how fit they are, fitness wins consistently.

And is there any extra information supplied on the race and/or on who/how to bet or is it just what is standard

supplied on Twitter?

That is pretty much it, but what how fit the favourites are, if unfit you know that your exotics are going to pay bigger, this is a big tip, unfit favourites.

Thank you for your time James and happy punting. Following 28.8, we will have our own software soon,

sensational stuff, out soon.

I also enjoyed the information on the web page.

Thanks I rarely moan about most other things in racing that other racing web sites mention,  all I am interested in is getting members tomorrow winners, nothing else matters Gavin.

Cheers Jim  (you will see edit post on live form mate)

Plenty happening this year, I could end up anywhere in the world

Regards

Gavin

PART 2 - PREPARATION FOR THE RACE - (B)19 to (B)30

28. The Parade Ring

28.1 Riders must proceed to the Parade Ring when so instructed by the Clerk of the Course or his representative.
28.2 No horse may be admitted to the Parade Ring unless

28.2.1 it has been declared to run under Rule (F)89,
28.2.2 it is advertised on the racecard as being for sale, or
28.2.3 the Authority or the Stewards have given prior permission.

28.3 A Person may enter the Parade Ring if he is

28.3.1 an official of the meeting,
28.3.2 an owner, Trainer, horse attendant or Rider of a horse which is to run in the next race, or
28.3.3 a Person who has special leave from the Stewards or the Racecourse Managing Executive,

and any Person refusing to leave shall be reported to the Stewards.

28.4 No horse is allowed to leave the Parade Ring to proceed early to the start before the signal to mount is given unless the owner or Trainer first obtains the permission of the Stewards.
28.5 When the signal to mount is given, each horse must continue to proceed around the Parade Ring and be mounted at the walk or a horse may instead be made to stand still, with its heads towards the centre of the Parade Ring, for the Rider to walk immediately to where his horse is standing and mount there.
28.6 When the Rider has mounted, he may walk his horse round the Parade Ring in front of those horses which are still standing and must continue to do this, in the same direction as the horses were walking before they were mounted, until the moment arrives to go down to the start.
28.7 Horses are not allowed to cross the middle of the Parade Ring unless directed to do so by an official or any representative of the Racecourse Managing Executive.

Did Flamberge get an edge?

He won the Oakleigh Plate without parading in the ring before the public.

Went straight onto the track and yours truly never had a chance to rate the horse for members.

What other country in the world allows this?

I am sure, zero.

No, it is not fair to me and 28.8 punters let alone other owners.

Do you have to get permission from the stewards for this?

Even though it is only a half paced gallop to the barriers, Flamberge was allowed extra time to

recover and that is an edge he got over other horses.

It’s wrong.
